Penja white pepper (100g)

White pepper from Penja, also known as 'golden seeds', is an exceptional pepper from the Cameroonian soil that is found exclusively in Cameroon in the Penja region. It is the first product from sub-Saharan Africa to have received a designation of origin in 2013: Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) and quality awarded by the European Union.

To obtain this GI (title of intellectual property), awarded the same year to the white honey of Oku, produced in the North-western region of Cameroon, Penja producers who have been growing this condiment for decades have benefited from funding from the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI) and the French Development Agency (AFD)
