Kaolin or 'kew' in Wolof are white, friable and refractory clays, composed mainly of kaolinite, or aluminium silicates.

With a soft texture, kaolin is suitable for all skin even the most sensitive.

It purifies the epidermis and stimulates cell renewal.

With its mineral composition, it revitalizes and restores radiance to dry skin.

In short, it erases, exfoliates and removes all impurities embedded.

How to use it ?

  • In a mask : mix the powder with clear water to form a paste that is applied to the whole face in a thick layer, You can add a teaspoon of moringa oil and a hint of lavender hydrolat for oily skin or lime hydrolat for reactive skin. Leave on for 15 minutes and remove the clay before it dries.

  • To make your homemade toothpaste : just mix 20g of white clay, 5g of sea salt, 20g of baking soda and a little fennel powder. Another alternative to fennel powder can be mint powder.
